Vertex Deluxe

Hello I have a Vertex Deluxe 100Gal/day R/O unit that is about 4 months old and I am getting a 28pp reading I have maybe made 400 to 500 Gal of water and I am amazed that I am getting these kind of numbers already. I am on City water and have a Water softener for the house too.
So if I have to change filters do I have to change the membrane too and is alright to go to .5uM from 1uM pre filters.

I didn't read a question but how many ppm tds are going into the unit?

I do not have a TDS meter on the front end.

I am wondering if the water softner is putting to much salt in the water before the filter.

Well I in the middle of a test to see if the DI resin in leaching stuff back into the water after its been sitting. So far I have removed the Resin and ran the system for a while and I got a reading of 08. I put the resin back and ran for while and reading went to 00 so I shut it down and going to let it sit for while and run again and see what I get.
