How Much are you asking for It ? And how old Is It ?
Bill:dance:
6 months old and in excellent condition, $180 picked up.

Also selling the skimmer but rather than turning this into a selling thread here is the FS thread (skimmer w/original pump).

Wow, That's about what I paid for mine brand new. RS sells them shipped for 200.00 or so shipped, Your price may be a bit high. JMO
Bill

Not exactly, RS reduced the price to $205, so I'm selling it for $25 less. I actually paid $220 about 6 months ago and I guarantee that this pump runs as good as new. If someone wants to save a few bucks then that should be between a TRUE interested party and myself. I'm a bit confused why you would ask "how much" if you already have this pump and don't seem to be sincere about wanting to buy. You are certainly welcome to your opinion but the motive is questionable.

Quote from RC Guidelines:
"if you only wish to comment on the quality of someone else's trade item or the price with no intention of buying or trading please keep those thoughts to yourself. This type of post only sidetracks the thread away from the goal of the original poster which is selling or trading their item. "
With that said, no disrespect, peace out and enjoy the ride.

update shot from my in-80. going strong for about 9 months or so now

i've got it skimming a little wet, but its in a zone where it's kicking out this amount of gross liquid every 2 days or so.

This Is the Kind of Tea you get with a stock pump, Not Black Axel grease like With the BB pump, Plus It never overflows or quits or any of the other problems the Resun pump has! Just read the thread and see how much trouble these pumps have, I'm not the only person who dumped the Junk stock pump.
One thing that stays the same on RC is the never ending arguing no matter what you say. So Adios, As this serves no purpose any longer.
Bye....:uzi:

This is my in-100, stock pump, i get this much every two days. The stock pump isn't the greatest and i'll probably upgrade it eventually, but you can get thick dark sludge out of it too. :)

I knew I forgot something, The stock pump draws V1 155W V2 55W BB 38W Max and Is Oh so Quiet and dependable plus the 3 year warranty. But It won't overflow all over my floors every other day, sob...

So the issues I have had with inconsistent foam levels that have led to overflows are remedied by the BB pump?
thanks

They were for me! I had nothing but problems with 2 different stock pumps, Since I swapped for the BB I have adjusted It and forgot about It other than cleaning the cup out once a week as It's pretty much full by then.
The Resun pump overflowed everey other day no matter where I set the piece of junk, Plus the Skimate Is much darker and really smells bad.

hey guys....ive gota in 180 which ive had for a year now and im not happy with it. i cant get it to skim worth a flip.

it makes tons of bubbles but i get nothing in the cup. every 2 weeks or so i have to clean the neck of the skimmer and cup and its some of the foulest slimest mud ive seen....but once it starts to build up on the neck my foam head drops.....

any ideas on why its not makin it into the cup?

DJ,
Odie here or funkoptimus......er um jamie....

What is the water depth that the skimmer is in?? Sounds like you need to get the foam head higher by having the skimmer lower in the sump.

Yup. My skimmer is in 12" of water, but my volute's intake is about 5.5" from the surface. Sounds like you need to get the skimmer in deeper water. Maybe an inch or two lower...

I have question about my IN280, it seems about mid-day (3pm ish) the foam drops down to the seam where the cup and body meet, than it will start to rise back up around 7 ish, and by 9pm it's foaming thick brown foam that slowly fall's into the cup.I have a ATO so the water level is consistent at around 7 1/2 inches ,,,anyone have this going on too? Thanks
