Very cool

Glanced at the tank earlier and saw the fish eating madly? I hadn't fed them and what I saw really surprized me. One of the cleaner shrimp was propped up on its frontend releasing a huge amount of eggs!! Was flicking the " don't know what they're called " madly and the fish were eating as fast as I'd ever seen them eat.

Anyway, i thought I'd share as it was pretty cool. Anyone else see this?

pretty cool,I've seen my tank hatch a blizzard of something that looked like mysis shrimp...the fish took care of those in no time.

Apparently the eggs had hatched? That's what a local hobbyist said. Some kind of larval stage. Anyone know exactly? Thanks

I saw this in my tank with my peppermints, actually. Every night for almost a week, I had thousands of little larvae floating the water column. Free food!

I've seen hermits releasing tiny babies into the water column, same response from the fish -- woohoo, free food!
