vho length with endcaps

hey all, I just purchased a PFO VHO retrofit kit and am wondering if anyone knows what the length would be with bulb installed in the endcaps.

they are the german style endcaps
here is the exact kit I bought.

I need to know whether the 48 inch bulb I have will fit in a 48 inch space once installed into the endcaps or whether I need to return it and get a 46.5 inch bulb

I know the bulbs are not exactly 48 but I don't know once they are in the endcaps if they will fit, as I have no way to expand the space. if anyone has this type of set up can you measure and let me know total length? I will be forever indebted to you.

On my old 75 (4 foot tank) I used to buy the 46.5" bulbs.
With endcaps it fit nicely with a bit of wiggle room.

A 48" bulb with endcaps has to be bigger than 48". That's an easy one. Just order the 46.5" and you should be safe.
