Does anyone know who has 6 ft VHO's in stock? Im looking for the 50/50 URIs. I know aquatic eco ships from the factory only in that size.

Thanks

I just bought some from champion supply...they shipped em free, but i don't know what the limit is...I bought 4 48" and 2 6fters...

BTW,

Check out the new 75.25 VHO...They are much nicer than the 50/50...They are new and look like an aquasun with a hint of blue no pink...much nicer...you could compare them to 14k...:)

Are you reffering to champion lighting? A sponsor of this site. The site says there is a addtional freight of 32.00 for 72in bulbs.

i just bought 4-4 ft vho's from marine depot, those with a few other products and shipping was only $10, thought that was a great deal.

Yes please. Did you order them online or call them? Im just concerned to why it states shipping will be 32.00 additional for bulbs.

Turns out Reef works had some old coralife bulbs. He was the only place in town who had the 72 inch bulbs.

Unfortently everybody online want around 30.00 just to ship 2 bulbs.

Thanks reef wroks!

Teo,

I've got some unused 6 footers in the garage. I'll have to check to see if they are 50/50's or super actinics. It's funny I was thinking about them yesterday and that I really ought to use them or sell them.

Hopefully you're able to find what you're looking for, I think VHos are slowly fading out in popularity and availability.

While shipping can be a pain, it isn't easy to ship 2 6 feet long delicate pieces of glass in a cheap way so that they arrive in tact at their destination unfortunately :(

72 in VHOs have always been a pain in the butt to buy due to there size. But now that shipping is getting more expensive just makes it even more so.

I dont think by any means they are fading out. All 4 of the stores I visted today had plenty of 2-4 fts available.

VHOs are tried and true through out the fish comunity not just RC.

I have 2 spankin new 46.5" if anyone needs any...they are 50/50...I don't prefer that color so I didn't use them and needed larger bulbs...

$40 takes em...

Teo,

I dropped the ball and just checked those 72" tubes I have. They are Super Actinics - not the 50/50's you were looking for.
