Ok so im sitting here wathing the clows (mine are total hams) and im trying to figure out what the male is doing. He just started this tonight hell be swimming and when the femail comes close to him he VIBRATES!! its funny to see at first i thought something was on him and he was trying to shake it off but after watching him close hes Fine hell Vibrate when she is near and then i noticed that he chases all the other fish away from her is this a Mating behavior? either way its funny to watch

Yep submission to the female, perfectly normally. This is just the female (larger one) showing the male (smaller one) whose boss.

that would explain the little whip she is carrying haha poor little feller i know how he feels. i get the same treatment when i ask if we can go to the fish store !!!!

I love this lil seizure! I just threw a pair in my new 20 gallon tank in my bedroom...and the male does this quite often......Watch them once you turn the lights off..that is when the show really starts!!
