He has permanent popeye since about Sept of last yr. I tried epson salt, maracyn and other treatments, nothing worked. Was suppose to be my showfish too with developed male lines.

Hes blind in that eye now.

beautiful! clean, zen looking with a pair of Personifer (one of my favorite), envy.
are u adding more fishes or this is it?
thanks for sharing.

I'm amazed at how peaceful the two Achilles and powder blue are with each other. We're all these guys QT'd, if so do you mind sharing your procedure?

wow...very clean and nice looking tank...my style of fish for a fish only...keep it up and also I like to know if you qt any of those fishes...and the procedure of them...

thanks for the feedback from myerst2, orangegoby, aquaph, hammerfrog, corallogoon, reef80, and peter.. I appreciate it!

The true personifer I've had from DD since ~09/2011. Its just very slow to darken the black stripe on the tail.

I have a ~4" Blueface angel in QT at the moment. I might eventually rehome to a buddy a couple of fish and try out
some squareback or pictilis anthias.

Theres one small bangaii in the tank, but hes usually hides behind the rocks. I added 3, but 2 disappeared after 2 days.

Very nice, nice flow too. Is that a MP40 or 60?

mp60. Usually I keep it at about 50% but turned it up more in the vid. If you watch closely at the 10sec mark, you can see it suck air then blowing it in the tank causing all the micro bubbles.

@ aquaph8 and reef80

The pbt was 1st of the acanthurus tangs to enter DT @ Oct 2011. Achilles #1 Feb 2012 and achilles #2 May 2012.

QT procedures - 29g I keep running year round, powerhead, heater, and aquaclear hob(sponge) - I do 3 weeks of .4-.5ppm cupramine on ALL fish. 2 prazi treatments. one 1hr formalin dip during the transfer to the DT.

I get fish in and if it feeds well the first couple of feedings, I immediately dose prazi. So usually that is started on day 2. About 2 days after prazi is started, I start on cupramine. I dose 1ml cupramine at a time. About 6mls to achieve .50ppm over 3 days.

Then after 3 weeks, I transfer the fish over to a 5gal dosed with formalin(+air stone) for an hour dip. Then transfer the fish over to my DT. So all total about 1 month in QT.

Adding the achilles, I had to divide up the DT with eggcrate for 3-4 weeks to help minimize aggression.

The sailfin was the last to go in about a month ago. I used an acclimation box for a few days. It will occasionally charge the 2 achilles and does not bother any other fish. If it gets bad, I might consider putting it in timeout and then try it again later.
