Look at the videos i shot in my tank.
My bicolor blenid is laying eggs with my clowns.

A threesome with my blenid and my clowns. It was very strange.

Have you ever heard about something like this before? What do you think the new species will look like?

My old bicolor used to help guard the clowns' eggs and would hover protectively while they were spawning. He never attempted to join in, though!

Cool vids. Are we sure this lone blenny isn't in fact trying to steal/eat the eggs? Or maybe the blenny is trying to be a brood parasite, somewhat akin to a Cuckoo? That third video sure looks like the Bicolor is laying eggs...I'm gonna go with brood parasitism for now..granted none of the blenny's eggs will be fertile without a mate.

The clown female ate all the eggs one hour later.

The Cuckoo idea is interesting.
