Video: Octopus kills Shark

Pretty neat, BUT we would have to say we like the "sexy zango babes " better :D !!!
Never though a octopus could kill a 3-4 foot shark, CRAZY!!! :D

PS. Hows that 150 comming along?? :D

lol, I had to go back and look to see what "sexy zango babes" was. I didn't notice it when I posted the link - was scared I accidentally posted porno for a minute there. I'm suprised the octo won that round too, he didn't even look that big. I guess when they say over in the Cephalopod forum that they will eat everything in the tank, they really mean it!!

Thanks for asking Mike, your 180 is kicking butt, I've been tagging along in the large tank thread here and there. You've got quite a few frags going there and I like the Foxface too. What other fish are you planning? 150 isn't running yet, I've got a few things for it but, I've been working like mad since the day after I got it from you and everytime I get home, all I want to do is sit down.:) I'm off today due to weather but I had such a backlog of errands I didn't get a chance to do anything. I still need to get a skimmer, RO/DI unit, and rock. I knew it was going to be a bit before it was up though. You'll probably see some questions posted here when I finally do get it going.

Absolutly you can ask me whatever you like!!! Good Luck with the equiptment selection, What are you planning on keep in the tank? After you figure that out what are your plans with equiptment on it??. I can give you a hand if you need it :)

Thanks Mike, Im still trying to decide whether I want to go with a predator type tank or a reef with smaller fish and a couple of large show fish. For sure I want a Foxface, A Regal Tang, and a Purple Tang. I like those little Fiji blue spotted puffers but, if I get that I can't have shrimp and I've kind of wanted a Fire Shrimp since I saw Robthorn's reef before he moved to his big tank. For equipment I want to go with a Euroreef skimmer, they have a great rep, very reliable and "plug and play". I'm looking at the ones rates for 180 and 250 gallons (being a newb, I'm bound to overfeed and I might as well give myself room to upgrade later). Forgive me if this is a silly question but, what is the difference in the CS and RS series? From their website, I can't tell. I'm also going w/ a 55 gallon sump, sock filter, base rock seeded w/ LR, Tunze Turbelle Streams 6000's w/ the controller (I think). No decision on lighting yet and I still have to look into the snapper you told me about. I just need the time to get it all together and build the stand. Troy expressed some concern over the building of the stand but, I think I've got him calmed down, lol. Thanks again!

Welp you let me know if you need help with the stand and canopy, I think I might just know the right person for that ;) !! Well so far a ER and the Tunzes would be a good choice, as far as lighting Id go with some T5s, how many depends on what you are going to keep in the tank. The question you asked about CS or RC, welp RC mean recurculating, instead of one pump running on the skimmer theres 2, bascially doubling the skimming in a way, maybe someone could further explain the difference to you. CS is there top of the line skimmers, so anything with CS in there means that. But like I said let someone else weigh in on that :)
