What, no flower macros?! ;)

Clear, crisp, clean. Very nice. What are those large red clam like things in the second to last shot?

There are some, but mainly orchids and most have been posted before.

The clam like things are part of the Chihuly Glass exhibit that was here a few years back. The yellow sun type thing in the first pic and the glass in the last pic were from the same show.

They had these figurines made of glass, (not from the glass show), that I thought were pretty cool. They are designed to reflect light but some weren't either laid out right or some of the lighting was out. It would be sweet to shoot these in the dark!!!

This one was shadowed enough I was able to get what they really looked like.

I particularly like the first three images. Well done. Soft filtered light through the greenhouse gives a different look to a normal garden.

Thanks for the link Jesse. Fabulous sculptures! I've been to the Chihuly display at the art museum in Naples, FL. It's just breath taking. I noticed in your previous Chihuly thread that you mentioned that your wife is into the hobby. Was that directed towards the gardening, or the hot glass art? I work in small scale, making lampwork glass beads. It's a lot of fun!

My wife is a gardener. If you hang around here, you'll see tons of flower pics soon. Most are from our plantings.

Sent you a friend request as a reminder to self to keep an eye out for her pics. Is she a member here as well? I get into the gardening hobby as well.
