Usually those bubbles are a result of algae.

Pretty sure your bubble issue is O2 bubbles from photosynthesis LCDRDATA. You are seeing it because nothing is pushing the water around so you have a high O2 level right at the surface.

interesting re the vitamin C dosing.
I note that this seems similar to the zeovit product zeozym.
when you look at the product it looks like it have vitamin c in it and argonite powder.
