I have an adult vlamingi tang for sale. Eats fine, is healthy, etc. Perfect for a show fish, just ask for more details. Asking for 250 dollars, thanks.:spin3:
I've had the tang for about two years, I got it when it was only four inches; it's about 15 inches now. I feed it NLS pellets, mysid shrimp, and nori (as well as some macroalgae from my refugium) everyday. It will even occasionally steal silversides and clams away from my puffer, but it's never touched any of my small fish.
it can be a little hard for the tang to get the pellets as they float, but he still eats them. i usually feed the large variety, and that way my other fish can get some NLS pellets too. :spin1:
Just curious. How big is the tank you had this guy in. I have one and am planning on introducing it to my 400 gallon reef. Now I am worried it's going to be too large. Here is the deal. My LFS got them in without ordering them (they came in a shipment) and had it around for 3 months. The thing wasn't going to be purchased because of his size. I figured I had one of the larger tanks and thought I'd take him. The store let me have him for 50 bucks which all things considered was a really fair price. So I figure if the animal didn't get bought by me he may end up in some guys 110. At least he'd have a chance in my system.
