Vortech help

Replacing powerheads in my 175 gallon Bowfront (72" long x 24" wide at bow x 29.5" tall). I pretty sure I'm going with the Vortech's but would it be better to have two MP40's, one each side, or four MP10's, two each side in a high low configuration since the tank is 29.5" tall with a bare bottom.

Any advice is appreciated, I don't know anyone in my area (including stores) who have these set-up to see what the water spread actually is, to know whether or not a single MP40 on each side will move water top to bottom, or if the MP10's will move enough water from side to side in a longer tank.

I guess MP40's it is then. I think my glass is .5" and if you say the MP10's are too small then that's good for me. In order to get good top to bottom coverage where do I start with the position of the MP40. I know I can play with moving it around but why not get a good start point from others who have already done it.

IMO the range and power of the MP10 is just too weak, maybe good for nanos but thats about it. I would use them on the back glass as they don't need to push water that far. Refer to wireless set ups on the EcoTech website before you buy just so you know that they recommend.
