Vortech Modules

i have experienced a new issue not sure why...

i have the pump1 go into nutrient transport mode 8-9am
pump 2 is slave/opposite

then at 9am forward i go to normal ecosmart mode not nutrient mode..

the main pump changes fine...

but the slave goes into red blinking error mode...

this has happened 2 days in a row...

any ideas?

If you turn off Pump 2 and then turn it back on does it flash solid red or alternate between red and white? If so, you need to "Assign" Pump 2 just like you did for Pump 1.
 
FINALLY got my vortech module yesterday, and got it all set. Now just need to program my modes. Thanks!

I really wish the directions said that only the PAB device being updated can be connected. That would have saved me a few hours of my life yesterday.

this is in the PAB manual, the Vortech module is a PAB device so has rhe exact same criterias as all other PAB devices

Lol, I never read the PAB manual! Anyway, I am playing with it.

For those of you with the feed pause issues, this is what I have done so far.

The profilux controlled mode is not bad it you set the min, and max durations to about 20 seconds. So I just put the vortech into profilux controlled mode for 2 hours during the day. I usually feed between 3 and 5 pm, so during this time the vortech will go into feed mode.

And as long as the controller is in profilux controlled it will go to 100% during a thunderstorm...VERY cool!

I have tried to follow all the steps and instructions but I can't get it to work.

I have checked my VT and they have a firmware version of 2.2. They are the MP40w versions. From the manual it says I need a firmware version higher then 3.1. How do I upgrade the VT?

My VT module has a:
- Solid Blue Light
- Solid Green Light
- Flashing Yellow Light
- Red light flashes every 5 seconds.

Profilux firmware is 5.07, I am using the Profilux Control 5.0.9.1

I also don't see the Vortech Overview tab in my software on my PC

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

I tried to connect the VT module to the VT without upgrading the VT firmware first.

Is this the reason I cannot get the VT to connect to the VT module?

If so, how do I fix that?
