Vortech Operation Question

Hello Everyone,

I am currently running two Vortech MP40 W ES on my 120 Gallon tank. I have the Vortechs operating in master and slave mode and then on anti synch.

My question is would it be more beneficial to run each Vortech independent from each other?...so then each 40 could be running a different program. Or is it best to keep them running on Master/Slave anti synch?

i swap out from sync to anti sync, & running different modes on each. cant really tell any difference either way. just do it to change up

I mess with my settings all the time.

When they are independent of each other you will get random flow but it rarely ever hits all pumps on high. If one of your goals is nutrient transport they operate best when they are working together since overall flow in the tank is higher.

Mine are controlled by apex, so I have them go through many different modes through out the day sync/anti sync
