Vortech runs while seperated?

I pulled the wet side to clean it for the first time after my wireless upgrade. I'm used to having the motor stop when separated. In this case however, the motor continued to run. I removed the power cord and BBU cord, restarted the pump and tested again. I tried it several times, with the same results.

Did I miss something about the WWD upgrade that would cause this?

Just curious......

Interesting. Is this intended behavior or a feature awaiting a future microcode upgrade?

We eliminated the auto-shutoff because it was the source of more false stalls than anything else and since eliminating it we have fortunately rid ourselves of that problem. We are looking into re-implementing it once we get the code perfected but I cannot provide a target date. Fortunately all pumps are wirelessly re-flashable so once new code does come out you will be able to update your pump if the new code has a feature you desire.

Thanks Tim,

I agree that getting rid of the stalls was a priority! That hasn't happened since adding the WWDs.

Damn pesky code. :)
