waiting for dryness so I can mow the lawn

I believe everyone is missing the greater point:

I'M SCREWED.

I'm a bum. I only hope my neighbor buys the BS I fed him. This isn't good.

Who coulda guessed this thread would end up like this?

Curious did you say you threw your back out and grass went everywhere? Haha
And a bum? I beg to differ! cheer up, have a drink :)!

It was funny i was mowing today and I am one of those people with standing water buy hey not only was I mowing but I was pressure washing the deck of my rider at the same time

going out to mow 6 properties today. Hopefully yesterday and thismorning was enough to dry them a bit. Im guessing Ill be using my push mower more than my walkbehinds. Next week is supposed to dry us up, I hope so, because I have a big pondless water feature to build for a customer.

M husband uses a reel mower (it's a small yard) and with the ground as soft as it's been, it's been a good thing. Driving around, it's easy to tell the folks who used a riding mower; the brown tracks in the lawn are a dead give away. That can't be good for the lawn, can it?

This is one of our bigger hosta, at least 4 foot wide. Never got a chance this spring to divide. I may go for it if the garden dry a bit soon. We have dozens of them but still have so much space to fill, I'd rather reuse than buy more.

The wider tires on my rider prevented me from sinking into the lawn. The ground in my front yard was so soft that, my push mower wheels cut through the ground like a hot knife through butter. I also have brown foot prints in between each tire track. My front yard looks like a highway with dotted lines down the middle of each lane. The only issue I had with the rider was that I was near the end of my back yard. I actually was able to fishtail and spit mud everywhere. That wasn't so much an issue as it was awesome, but I do have to re seed.

Hee! At least you know how to have fun while doing a chore!
