Actually, cyano is commonly found on seahorses--both in the wild and in captivity--due to their need for very little flow. Interestingly enough, my other horse does not have a hint of the bacteria anywhere on him, nor is it present in the rest of the tank. However, cyano has proven to be harmless to seahorses, and it does not affect the them in a negative way.melev said:Kayla, how on earth did cyano bacteria get a chance to grab onto your seahorse?
