wana do a sea cuke

I have DSB 6"+ and I really think I want a sand sifting Cuke, I have been reading up and think they are safer than the filter feeders as far as toxic dangers but mainly I would it for the sand cleaning. I have a 90gal reef only at this point that is "no fish" but I will add just a few select small fish someday just not interested now. I have mostly LR, corals and inverts. Tank is 8 months old.
I used Carib SPC SEAFLOOR ARRAGONITE SAND 1-2M SIZE particles. My question is that good for sand sifting CUKES?

1 - 2 mm is a bit on the large side especially for a small cuke. Up to 1mm would probably be more appropriate.

So, what do you think yes or no cuke. I'm not thinking about changing the substrate.

I'd wait for more people to make recommendations and in the meantime read as much about them as I can. Consider that the sand grain size needs to be able to pass through the cuke. I have two cukes but my sand is very fine so I didnt pay too much attention to sand size recommendations for them. Also even among sand sifters dietary requirements may vary by species. Some may eat algal films, some detritus, and some bacterial films, and some may eat all three. Chances are if you have enough open mature sand bed you'll have enough of each to support atleast one cuke.

Thanks David, I've read that and other similar reports and think my tank is suitable, I never thought about this, some eat algal flims, some detritus, some bacterial films, but I think my tank would have more bacterial than algal film or detritus. Anyone else have experience and thoughts on the 1-2 mm size particles?
