Some of you know, I have a rather odd ball stocked tank. Currently in it are a stonefish, striated frogfish (black angler w/spots) and a snowflake eel. But for a long time ive wanted a swimming fish too.

I thought a puffer would do great, ended in problems, they were too hungry all the time and I couldnt feed my prioity fish, which were the stone and eel.

So with the successful addition of the Angler im wanting to return to get one more fish. The last one, but just wanting ideas.

I was thinking a Miniatus grouper, humu trigger, niger trigger.. somthing along those lines.. anyone have ideas? Or suggestions for a last and final addition to the tank.

A Xanthichtys sp. trigger would do nicely...I like male blue jaws and crosshatches, but a crosshatch will get too large for a 155.

"Reef" triggers (Rhinecanthus, Ballistes, Ballistapus, etc) will all pick at your bottom dwellers.

A miniatus won't swim much, but the trigger will.

Ok, a red tail trigger, I do love those fish, awesome colors too.

As for miniatus, about the temperment, are they too aggressive for the tank mates? That was one question that popped up in my head is will it be too many perching fish.

what about a blue hamlet? a hi-hat or porkfish? u don't see these as much, great for an odd ball tank

I had a high hat for some time in one of my eel tanks, and I found it to be much less scecretive than I thought it would be. Some of these somewhat large Caribbean fish seem like good choices in terms of size, temperament, and replaceability in case eaten
