I've tried and tried for the past two months to get these pieces of crap to work properly. Your software blows balls to put it nicely.. Why is it I have to connect to your stupid worthless servers just to program my lights?? cant you make software like everyone else that I can program with MY COMPUTER and not require your servers to be online, or not having a bad day, or maybe the computer server guy decided to quit? I'm sick of these lights i'm not joking I want my damn $3,500 bucks back.
pretty sad I had way better luck with ai sols or halides.
please give whoever I need to talk to my phone number as I want a full refund. these lights are less than 3 months old and I've had nothing but problems with them.

They honestly aren't difficult to program at all, it just take a little reading and time.
There are many people who have problems with ESL. A little reading and time will not help if the servers are down. A little reading of this forum will tell you that many people are unhappy with the ESL service.

+1 i wish they was going to keep there desktop software.there are a lot of forums of how much people are not happy with ESL from day one.i will try ESL after it come out of Beta if it ever does.

A post like that is probably not the best call for help. Just thinking that talking to someone direct (and nicely) would get you more help. I have not found ESL to be a bad way to set up lights myself. I have set my one light up, and helped several others set their lights up.

Yeah, it is honestly a dick move. I hate how people don't attempt to resolve their issues with ETM before they move to bashing on the boards. I think people think they will get more if they raise hell. I work in the service industry and you will get way more out of me if you handle it differently.

one is cake.. try setting up 5-7 within 3 diffrent profiles.. lol
thier programming mixxes up the lights, combines lights under wrong profiles, has lights coming on under a diffrent profile at the wrong time.. just retarded to be dealing with this many problems after spending 3,500 on supposedly the best lighting system out there.
 
So ..... So far you have demanded a refund and threatened a class action lawsuit.

The connection manager works fine or call support and they will remote in and fix your issue.

I'm all for voicing my opinion even if it only saves 1 person the grief ive went thu and the numerous corals ive lost due to thier crappy programming software.

I have three different groups on different frequencies and I also setup up 12 at my local lfs. If an issue arises ETM will remote in and get it up working.

Personally i would have preferred you try to get a refund directly from them before putting this out for everyone to see. It's pretty messed up but I'm behind you I wish you luck, for 3500 dollars that system better work right the first time

You could handle the refund in a polite way! Then, post negative feedback a out the product. My kids read this forum and I demand people act in a professional manor.
 
I'm all infavor of contacting a company and demanding some satisfaction when all attempts to get the product working correctly has been exhausted.
This should have been done one on one with a company rep.

Doing this makes you sound like a lunatic.
 
I happen to have 4 gen 1's over 2 different tanks and love them.
I have had a couple issues, but all were user error, which were resolved when I called tech support.
 
geesh.... how did throwing a temper tantrum work out for you? because with posts like those i would doubt anyone called you. Before you came here and had a hissy fit why didnt you just call tech support and tell them all the problems you have and then see if they can help you on their end.

mr. captain obvious ive contacted them probably 4 times already.. same ol story each and every time, servers down.. needs maintance, our software needs work, yada yada yada

Hmmm, that seems weird already. I have called a dozen times with questions. I know the servers were just updated a few weeks ago to handle loads. Usually they won't get off the phone until the problem has been addressed.
