Want to ditch hood

So I want to change lighting on a biocube29. I'm on a budget so was thinking of finding a used 24in T5 metal Hyde light combo what are your opinions?

What I did was got a kessil LED. I got rid of the hood completely and got a goose neck. Looked much cleaner.

Ya but that's out of my budget range for a Kessel

Yeah but dont you have to pay to replace the metal halide and t5 bulbs every year or so? You could find a kessil 350 led light for like 200$

You could also look at the new AI Prime which comes with a built in controller for 199. You could try to find a used Hydra 26 as well. I've had a good experience with Hydra 52s.
