Wantanabei skin issue?

no signs of ick. More like ulcer ....
Frist 10 days is no where near enough time to qt. Qt all fish at least a month but I would do much longer. I qt all my fish for 3 months starting after its disease free for a few weeks.
This was any thing worng with the fish should have shown by now and it gives me a good chance to look at it every day and to treat as needed.
As for this fish I don't see any thing pics are to bad.
What did you treat for in qt?

Actually.... The second pic using a phone and moving fish is quite good. First pic is fuzzy, however, marks exist on both sides of head and can see in fuzzy pic. In second pic, It's the whitish mark about the size of the pupil just back from the top outer circle of the eye. I use QT for fish and corals always. The feedback I'm looking for is specific to this species of angelfish. Perhaps, ulcers around upper head happens in this species kind of thing....
Marks were not there before going into display. Could be a tight squeeze through live rock. Will watch to see if changes shape and/or gets worse before I remove. It's not ich. It's not velvet. Fish is active and eats like a horse at the moment.

Problem with Melafix is that it is not specific about what kind of bacteria it supposedly treats. Even API couldn't tell you if you called them. In my experience, the only thing Melafix does is make your tank smell like tea.
If it's bacterial, a broad-spectrum antibiotic like kanamycin would be a good treatment. But, it does not appear to be bacterial from the picture. I would forego treatment for the time being until you know what you are treating, if anything.
