<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=9206573#post9206573 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by LtPiper I know where a 72" new in the box fixture is 4x96 is for sale.
I think piper's are pc anyway. I use four 4 ft vho on a 7 foot tank. They're staggered down the canopy. Slightly more watts 440 vs 412 and a 3 foot URI is only a dollar cheaper than the 4 foot.
my whole problem is that one of my halide ballast died and I have to send it off to be repaired because it is still under warranty. so i really need a light for the right side of my tank. just thought i could go with a vho setup for now or run both later on like phil does. before to much longer I'll have to buy new halide bulbs anyways. I was looking at a new icecap 660 ballast and the four 48 in bulb, but i really don't know what to do. Should I just buy another halide ballast why I wait on the other that way I have a spare or what. tell me what you guys think
