and house temp is as allwise 15 to 20 above ambiant.
60 outside thermostat reads 79 .
did some one say halide ?
sheezzz and I'm running a chiller too 1/3 hp

and one ever make any vents for in the house tank?

Ya I hear you, I have been on purpose ignoring the same thought, but it may be the only solution.
either there or up thru the ceiling.
My tank temps are great , just the rest of the house is warm.
odd I am actuually running the same water volume as before
same lights the chiller is the same also.
but damn is it hot now. I am running more and bigger pumps?

I am not sure why you are heating up. They do sell an air exchanger that works well and isnt too expensive. I can get them wholesale.

No i am sorry i dont. That seems to be the type of unit I was looking at before. If anyone is interested i can get a price.

I heated a 1 bedroom apartment through a winter with 8 hours of halide lighting a day, and that was just two 400s on a 90 gallon tank. More bulbs and a 1/3 horse motor (that makes a lot of heat on its own, no doubt) dumping heat from your tank into your house is sure to add up quick. And without outside venting or physical separation between the tank and chiller the warmth dumped into the room in turn heats the tank back up only to have you run the chiller more and make even more heat getting the tank temp down. Hopefully you have the two isolated, though. Guess I'm surprised you're surprised ;)
