Warner Marine Now Has A Pellet Product

I just ran into a little problem. I took out all the sponges from my BRS reactor and added 1/2 L of Eco-Bak. Because the sponges are no longer there, the eco bak keeps coming out the output. Any ideas?

Get some of the plastic craft circles that people have been using and cut it to fit the inside of the container. Put that in first and then put in the pellets. I am doing the same thing with my MR1 reactor and it is working fine.

anyone know the treatment vol, just got 500ml but no instructions

500 ML is enough for 100gal of water volume, Ran in a seperate reactor with around enough flow to gently tumble the media. If you go back and read the whole thread you will gain more knowledge on this product.
Bill:)

Mine seem to be doing well. The first day they were sticking together quite a bit and a bunch were floating on the top. Today they are fine.

Just set mine up last night, running 350- ml in TLF reactor with 100 gph slow tumble. I was at least what I think is low 5ppm NO3 & .03 ppm PO4. Found the plastic screem material at MICHAELS.

What is the smallest tank and smallest skimmer you goes are running these with??

Although I have them on hand, I am on the fence now whether to put these into use.

Regardless I am holding off for a little bit as I just replaced my bulbs and ordered the Hanna Phosphate meter. I want to have a good baseline to start from and be able to test accurately.

Not sure on the first part, but I am also waiting on my Phosphate Photometer. Where did you order yours? I ordered it over a week ago and I am still waiting as they are on backorder :(

I highly recommend the original Hanna LR Photometer over the newer (smaller) checker. While the $50 checker is much cheaper I found it to be not nearly as accurate as the more expensive full version LR Photometers.

Our Reef Club did a comparason of the new cheaper meter against the older more exspensive, Back to back with the same water samples and they were both spot on! No measurable difference between the two, As fair a test as possible without being in a lab. FYI
