Wow, wish our tests were like that. Tried 3 different "checkers" against 2 of the pro original version photometers. The first one gave 3 different readings from the same sample so it was returned. The second checker meter read zero consistently while the 2 full size photometers both gave readings of 0.12. A day later the same checker gave a reading of 1.71 while the 2 original (full) meters were still reading 0.12. Brought someone else's checker over and it read zero on the same tank water. Just for kicks I took the same water and my original full size meter to a LFS who also has the same meter, and his was dead on with mine.Our Reef Club did a comparason of the new cheaper meter against the older more exspensive, Back to back with the same water samples and they were both spot on! No measurable difference between the two, As fair a test as possible without being in a lab. FYI

While I think the checkers are far better than most of the regular test kits out there, IMO the original gives me consistent readings every time. Then again, theres always the chance that we got 3 bad checkers.
