I don't want this to unnecessarily happen to anyone else so I want to send out a warning.
Please be careful mixing maxi mini anemones and fish. I believe there are more that one species of maxi. I have some colored ones that I've had for over 3 years that have never grown bigger than 2 inches across fully open but I have a green one that's about 7-8 inches across. In the past 3 weeks she has taken (sadly we didn't know for sure until last night that she was the culprit) a hea;thy and thriving 3 inch maroon, a small baby Onyx and last night a young true perc.
No more fish for me as long as the "Jolly Green Giant" lives in my tank
Please be careful folks....these nems are deadly to fish.
