yeah i did its under my 75...the old tank is on the same thread too...thanks for looking...i can't wait either...just am mad at my stupid clown for messing with my hippo

Cant wait to see it together. Im sure your going to beat me to it. I got a gold stripe maroon clown a while ago. He was picking on my big tangs the first night in the tank. And chasing the sixline all over the tank. He only stayed in about 4 hours. He has his own place now down in the refugium. I think a lot of the darker clowns are pretty mean.
 
lol yeah, i would hate to lose my hippo, but i doubt i could catch either one, and i have had the clown for like 4 years, the other clown---the little clown is so chill just stays in the anems and guards the eggs. they lay them ALL the time lol.

thanks for the post hotwired, i wish i had a stand like yours though, when we built ours it was for strength and thats it lol, i had to remove the middle piece of ply to fit the sump it, but its still SUPER strong at least.....i want to add a dj power strip like yours though.
 
Yes the dj power strips come in handy thats for sure. Now if they were only timered that would be even better. But I got that covered with the RKE I guess. IF I EVER GET IT ALL TOGETHER......
 
Man if you ever want to come by and check out the plumbing on my system feel free to give me a call bro. mine is pretty simple yet very effective. Might give ya an idea.
 
thanks man i will have to take you up on that...i am looking into some flex pvc, i think that will save me from using a few 45s i am just wondering about the strength and the stress points when i glue it into something. and i wish i had a light like yours
 
Yea man you can still see all my plumbing even with the tank in place. I still dont have doors on the stand.

I used the flex stuff to and so far so good ;) (knock on wood)

What light are you talking about, the MH or the fuge light?
 
your halide...what light do you have on your fuge tho, i was thinking of adding a 150 watt clip on halide for it, but think it would be a waste of money....it would look cool though and i bet the macro would grow lol.

i don't have doors on mine either, as i am sure you can see
 
Im thinking about getteing a 400w now though. I reall want some SPS's but Ill try em under the 250 first.

The fuge light is just a $5 clip on work light from Lowes with a 65w 6500K bulb.
 
i was trying to find a piece of plumbing that would connect 3 ends to 1, and had to make my own....it looks very weird but i hope it works...what do you all think.

Looks like it may work. Really depends on how much pressure you will have on the bottom and middle pipe because the water coming into that 4way wont just go up on its own.
 
well then i am at a loss....i have now clue lol how do this......i talked with jeff...and am going to have him come over on moving day...i think the price of him over here will give me a good piece of mind.....what do you think i should do russell?
