Watanabe's Angelfish

thanks for the heads up that is a good price on them. Did you see if it was eating?

I recently bought a female that is about an 1.5 inches, she is doing lovely in my tank now, she cost 40 bucks.

I t was very healthy amd I think it was over 2inches. It has very nice shade of baby blue. It was eating because he tried to put some food in to catch some of the fish that I wanted. They are moving soon so that is why the price are good on the fish. Nothing wrong with the fish of what I can see.

males are harder to find. I think I saw one at AAF in Pleasant Hill, it was pretty darn mean though, it basically bossed all the fish in the tank around.

It's hard to find a male as to be a male it has to be large-ish. That coupled with them being a hard to ship fish and a deeper water fish, makes them hard to find in the states in any decent numbers.

Hummm..... Really? the male are hard to find? I see them in LA wholesalers all the time. I do know that if the male doesnt like the female , he will kill her right away.

Yup, hard to find. Take what you see and divide it between about 5000 places across the US.
