Water change Wednesday

Wonder why I'm seeing so much. Only about 200g twv. Sump is in the basement and fully open.

Has the salinity remained constant? Hopefully there isn't a small leak in the system, which went undetected. 4.7 gallons a day seems excessive for that size system imo.

On my 180, which is in the basement, I only add about 2 gallons top-off per day on average.

There are so many different factors to consider in evaporation. The way I had my 135 setup I evaporated 3 gallons a day. My 120 varies from 1/2 gallon a day to maybe 2.5 gallons a day. As for salinity change, on my 120 to drop it .001 it requires me to remove 5 gallons of tank water and replace it with 5 gallons RO

And don't forget, when your full of hot air there is more evaporation.

Water change today :). Only the 2nd water change I've done since standing it up and it took around 15 minutes. Much easier when it's plumbed to empty via the return pump than siphoning lol. I will still siphon every other time to clean the sand.

I did a water change on all three tanks tonight and cleaned three powerheads. Anybody else do there Wednesday water change?
