Water clarity

i am 3 weeks in started out with some live rock and already cycled water about 4-5 gallons. right now i am in the middel of my alge cycle
and the water clarity is not all that great no bad but not great could that be related to the alge.

Since the tank is only 3 weeks old, I wouldn't worry about water clarity very much for a bit. Algal growth in the water column is certainly possible, and you might have some detritus and particulates as well.

its a 75gal with canopy 4 lights there all a little dif from eachother not sure what they are exactally i have a 35 gal sump and scimmer
not real sure on the details i got everything from a sat customer of mine with about 45 pounds of his live rock and about 4-5 gallons of origonal water from his system. As far as the water quality everthing has been testing good i have 3 damsels in the tank now and a yellow tang, and a bubble tip anenome getting ready for a couple clowns the damsels have been in for about 2 1/2 weeks the tang and anenome about a week

Hmm, if the ammonia is clean, I wouldn't worry too much. The tank is very new and has a lot of animals, so some unstability is to be expected. If the water is green, the tank is likely undergoing a phytoplankton bloom. Grayish water is more likely to be bacterial problems.

I would avoid adding any more animals for a month or so, if it were my tank.
