water flow for sps

I'm going to receive some sps frags soon.

I have just introduced 2x Valenciennea sexguttata (gobbies)

They are making a very good job of turning the live sand constantly. Now I am a little worried, as I have a good amount of flow from my power heads but the white dust from the sand is sticking to the rockwork (as opposed to settling). :headwally:
Will this upset the sps ?. Or do I get more power heads and point directly at the rockwork ? The waters surface is moving like the ocean itself.

I haven't got them yet. My last ones died because there wasn't enough flow, and with algae growth they suffocated. So now I have plenty of flow, but sand dust stays on the rockwork unless I point the pumps directly at the rock and blast it off. But that would be to strong for the corals.

Once your gobies get the sand initially cleaned it won't be a problem. I had a Diamond Goby at one time and he created a sand storm when I first put him in. Took about a week of cloudy water and an AquaClear 70 filter for it to clear up. But until his carpet surfing event took place he was never an issue. So ime wait on the corals until the gobies are done.
