Water Pump Hose

I bought a section of Goodyear Horizon air line hose for my return pump from my refugium. I needed something that wouldn't let light through and was flexible, and this was all that my local hardware store stocked. Is this safe for a reef tank?

Hard to say. find a MSDS if there even is one. If it is braided metal i would stay away. IMO.

It does not have a metal braid.
