Water

Hey guys

I have a question...Does anyone know the water chemistry for Davis, Ca? I want to test a hypothesis of mine. My roommate and I were spectulating the use of Davis' tap water with a dosage of water treatement (ie: Prime) in filling our tanks. Right now, we're running back and forth each week with store bought water. I was hoping for any inputs. I will try to keep logs of my testings. Thanks

Jay

I think what we're trying to figure out is if can we use tap water and treat it with some sort of declorinator such as prime. Intuition tells me it's a bad idea bc who knows what kind of bad crap is in Davis water, not to mention water is really hard over here...

Davis H2O Chemistry:
- Nitrate 18
- Hardness (CaCO3) 393
- Fe 0.1
- Ca 37
- K+ 2

Taken from UCD Prof. Jim Kelly

Thanks Distallassazn & Reefugee. I saw the davis water report. well, that pretty much answer my thoughts.
