Anyone know where i can get some distilled water cheap from? I'm looking for 5 gallons and up for my 10 gallon tank...thanks

What area are you in?

Andy's has it so does a lot of other stores. RO/DI water that is. I don't know if distilled is preferred for reefs, I recall hearing it was not but i don't recall the reason.

I've read the same thing before as faz. Something about because distilled water has lost all of its minerals the water molecules will bond with the fish/invertebrates that have these minerals that were lost by the water. I think this problem may occur if you replaced all your water in a small system. I've used distilled water bought at Wal-Mart when in a pinch. But my system is around 125 total gals. Never had any problems, but I always also TDS tested it first. Just make sure it is distilled water and not mineral water. If your close to Andy, I'd just go ahead and buy RO from him as faz suggested.
