wave2k w/ nems????

Hi All,

I need to bump up my flow, and would like to know if any one has used a wave2k w/ nems? It seams to be a good idea, but i have never seen them in use so i thought I would ask the pro's.

Also, is there any chance of the nems getting sucked up into the wave2k?

what is a wave 2k?

It is basicly a in tank wave box that plunges a plunger up and down, moving 4000g per hour, or so they say.

It is possible for anemones to be injured when wandering around a wave2k. Amount of danger would be dependent on species, tank design, etc.

In a 75gal with the mix of anemones in your profile, I would use low voltage powerheads, i.e. Streams on a controller or the like.

do you mean the Tunze or seio type power heads?

I use streams, especially when control and introduction of heat is an issue.
