wavebox alarm

my wavebox alarm keeps going off and the pump stops... i take it apart put it back together and it pumps two to three time then the alarm beeps and the pump stops... it is the older wavebox...

what can i do... should i send it it to see if it needs repair?

Take the pump apart, follow the cleaning procedure on the sticky in the forum. If the back of your pump getting dirty, more than likely it will sound the alarm...

ok i took the prop out but nthe little ring at the base of the prop wont come out.... everything in cleaned but still the alarm sounds.....how do i get the black ring out at the base of the prop... that must be the problem...i hope....

Use wood screw to remove the rear bushing. Have you read the thread?

Please keep me posted, you can use a pick tool or a #12 sheet metal screw. I use a 3" #12 or a pcik from a Kobalt set that is shaped like a C

How about soak in vinegar overnight?

ok.. after a long soak and the screw it came off...wow that thing had some calcium build up... works like a champ.... thanks all
