Wavebox Driver Failure

I think now I see why your readings were different. My readings incorporate the transformer. I was using an appliance monitor rather than a clamp meter. In that case 38W would be about correct. Sorry for the confusion.
 
No problems.

I am sure that other pump was in trouble from the beginning as I am now getting a noticeably bigger wave than I ever did before.

Well, two weeks down the road with the replacement pump and it turns out to be one of the ones with faulty plastic, or at least so it seems. Started alarming on Sunday and tracked the cause to a protrusion on the inside of the motor block jamming the magnet.
