Wavebox height?

I've got an AGA 120 that I have the wave box installed on. I use the two magnets to hold it in place. My question is that sometimes the water goes over the top of the wavebox, will that cause a degradation in performance/wave?

This does happen occasionally, if it is constant it might boost performance to raise the box a bit.

The AGAs have that outside trim on the top of the tank. I have the top magnet flsuh with that, though I have more room inside to move the wavebox up, I can not due to the fixed position of the magnets. Any thoughts on how to get around that. Would using the rails that came with the wavebox allow for this? THanks!

You could use the rails up top or just use the magnets with a portion actually on the trim it self.
