Wavebox on a 36X24X30?

Hi. Am thinking of getting a wavebox for my 36x24x30 setup. I currently have a 6100 and 2 SEIOs. Am thinking of putting in the wavebox and removing the SEIOs. I have an overflow on the left corner. Would the wavebox generate a decent wave, and what about the noise generated?

30" is the minimum length required to generate a wave.
So it should work.

It will work but I wouldn't do it, you will get a 1/2" wave and the money would be better spent on a 6000 Stream with a single controller.

Is the 1/2" wave because of the 36" length of the tank or another factor?

Shorter tank = shorter wave, no way around it. From a practical stand point, I can't endorse a wavebox for anything under a 4ft 75.

Just curious, what would be the water movement be like at the bottom of my tank? 1/2 inch as well? Will the depth of the tank make some difference?

Anybody got any pictures of a 3ft tank with a wavebox?
Looks like a good time to tell the wife that I need to upsize to a 4-5 footer. Maybe I should get the wavebox first... then TELL the wife. Haha...
