Hi Roger, happy new year! Thrilled as my 7095 multi is on its way. Because I can't seem to have enough Tunze products (I should set up a Tunze 401K) i've been reading up for hours on the wavebox. Forgive me if I missed this but my question is as follows:
I have a std 120G 48"x24x24 tank with overflow in middle rear. That's the perfect spot for overflow. However, with a wave box mounted in a rear corner it would be aimed directly at the side wall of the overflow which is 12" away from the box when you factor in the overflow and wavebox dimensions. Does this defeat the function of the wavebox? Asked another way, does the wavebox pump need a clear shot at the other side of the tank to function effectively?
