Wavemaker + stream 6000?

Roger,
I am planning/currently ordering circulation for my 120gal tank dimensions are 48x24x24. I see you often mention adding a stream 6000 to the wavemaker setup in order to lift the suspended matter to the overflows. Would 1200gph going over the overflow be sufficient to do this or do you still recommend the stream. If the stream is required where would your reccomended placement be in the tank in order to maximixe lift and work in tandem with the wavemaker rather than against it. Thank you for for your time in advance.

A good directional flow and occasional breaks in the wavebox action are required for best current conditions. If your 1200 is from one side and with fair force and you are not a mainly SPS hobbyist the wavebox alone may suffice.

Thanks for the quick reply Roger. I do plan on keeping primarily SPS in this tank. Should I place a 6000 opposite the wavemaker and have them both on a 7095 controller or perhaps a different placement of the 6000. I just want to be sure that I wouldn't be better server to cancel my wavemaker preorder and go the 2 6000's and a multicontroler route. My hope is to create as natural of a flow as possible but you know your products way better than me so I am certainly open to suggestions.

The wavebox is a great device, it ensures no deadspots. I would alternate every 6 hours between the wavebox and an alternate mounted 6000 Stream.
