WC Picasso?

They wouldn't be called picasso's, that's what ORA has named them; I guess some rare misbar percs would be possible in the wild, but picassos are products of selective breeding.

They are selectively bred from an Original WC male Picasso.

Anyways I was helping unbagg a Bali shpiment yesterday and found a Grade A picasso in the shipment, Direct from bali. She is a large female. I am pretty stoked!

I took a male with her from the same batch. I thought he was cool with black pectoral fins.
If I didnt see it myself I wouldnt belive it but these are Wild Caught Fish From Bali. The female is Huge!

I had a tiny male that came in with the same 3rd bar connected with the second. I bought him and his mate as wild caught pair but they didn't survive quarantine. :(

Im worried about this big female she is on a hunger strike. I moved her into a 55 reef tank. I hope it will make her more comfortable . she looks stressed.

My LFS has some big anenomes in stock. I may go have another look at them. I think they areH. Malu. I wonder if it might help her to have a spot to feel safe.

Well this morning she is picking pods off the rock and glass and even chomped a bit of hair algea (no lie!). She still hasnt really had a good feed, but she mouthed some flakes last nite, I think she is coming around.

The smaller male is doin super and eats everything I give them.

Cool, I know I had to shave frozen food for my percs when I first got them.

I was searching through the forums today and I found this old thread. Here are some updated pictures of the WC Picasso female. She has bulked up a bit and darkened up nicely.

Enjoy!
