Webcams that dont need a computer

I have a Profilux 4 and I want to use a webcam to monitor the tank while I'm away but the problem is I only have 1 laptop and I take it with me whenever I leave. Does anyone know of any standalone webcams that can stream to the internet without the use of a computer? It looks like through the GHL control website I just have to plug in a url that a webcam is streaming too, but I'm unsure what I'll need to do that without a computer for the webcam to plug into.

I found some webcams that dont need a computer but it looked like you could only view the webcam through a phone app and I couldn't find any definite proof that I could use it through the controller program. It's not necessary but I would like it all to be in one place, ya know?

I got this one for my 1 month vacation. I was able to get a rough video on my smartphone. It connects to your wifi router and posts images to their own servers and the smartphone app gets the video feed. It also has motion detection feature.

Any IP camera will do what you want.
There is a new camera system. Its call IceCap REEF-Cam Wi-Fi.
I would place the camera outside the tank, not inside.

There is cheaper ways to do it than buying the Icecap.

Good Luck.

Do you have a recommendation on a IP camera, I don't need a fancy camera with high resolution. Just something practical that I can use with the myGHL software. If not I'll start searching, but are you positive any IP camera can stream to the internet where I can put the url in to my P4 software without the use of a computer?

We use Foscams for our home security system , we have our own domain but you can use something like NO-IP.COM or other DDNS services to access it from the internet.. just use Super strong passwords and do security screenings to insure your network is safe .
