Weekend Sales WERE AWESOME!!!

Must say this weekend was like X-mas came early. With all the sales at Aquarium Adventure, Phishy Business and Reef Systems... let's just say my check card is smoking right now. Picked up 6 different zoa colonies/frags, red trachy, neone green plate coral, bangaii cardinals, fire fish, occeralis clown (sp), and a blue linkina starfish. What did everyone else pick up? About pulled the trigger on buying a new 180 at aquarium adventure but the more I thought about it I don'twant to have to store it... move it in a few months to the new house, and besides we all know what a huge empty tank would do in the finished basement... WOULD NEED FILLED UP!!!

I was able to fight the temptation to buy anything while at Phishy's and AA...but then my fiancee surprised me with the Flame Hawkfish that I almost got at Phishy's. Great weekend indeed.

Very nice! I love my flamehawk... just not when he decides it is a good idea to perch on the zoanthids or any coral for that matter

I brought my triggers home from phishys last night and they are happy campers.

I got 130lbs of rock, 3 sally lightfoot crabs, 3 emerald crabs, 10 red banded troches, purple acro, a 2nd acro I cannot remember the name right now, blue milli, green milli, and ordered a Marineland 300DD aquarium/stand combo.

very nice busa. I was back in again todat at Phishy's and saw the triggers were gone... so wanted to buy them yesterday but my tank is not big enough not to mention not sure if i would trust them with the corals...

I agree Brian I went to all three places myself and got some great stuff at all three. I got some really nice Acan's lords from Phishy's, some SWEET zoo's from Todd, and surprisingly I think the best thing I got came from AA. Its was a nice Acan Echinata (sp) that has the potential to color up beautifully. You know how crappy their lights are over their coral tanks so under my Radiums this should color up wondefully.

LOL i was up at AA last sat for the first day of the sale, I started to talk to a lady who workered there if she knew the origin of the shipment on a specific coral whish she said was a "brain cooral" which I knew better was an acan lord about 6"x6" with some pretty awesome colors, she said australian... you know me... BAG IT UP!!! Reef systems had some awesome zoas that I did not have so I had to pick them up and they were not badly priced with the discount. My zoa garden is look pretty sweet with over 15 different colors morphs, one of my favorite things in my tank

Man I did the same thing the zoos I got from Todd's are colors I didn't have either and one I got I have never seen before, they are dark green with a lighter green center but they have these bright sparkles in the center. They are friggin awesome. We should do some trading when our frags grow out to get some different colors. And the Acan I got from AA is great too. I'll take some pics and post them later this week. I'm stuck in Dayton tonight with the storm, sounds like 70 is shut down from jack knifed 18 wheelers.

I picked up some nice ricordea as Phishy's over the weekend. With the 30% discount it was a great deal. I think they were mis-priced because when I got home I found 6 mouths. I always shop there anyway so they'll make up anything they might have lost in the deal.

+1 Hollback....AS you need to post up a pic of that Naso. I seen him in there a week or two prior to the sales, if its the same one, and it was very very nice. If I had a 200+ there is no doubt I would have bought him. Beautiful fish.
