weird clown behavior... help

one of my sebae clowns keeps lying down on the sand bed.. it was fine yesterday... its been doing that for about an hour... anything i should do?

check your water parameters quickly. PH, ammonia, nitrite, temp, salinity. Any gasping or white stringy stools?

If all those are normal, my new clowns sleep on their sides on the bottom. It's freaky.

while testing the water for the time being point one water jet slightly upward to disturb the top of the water so air exchange happens quicker.

How long have you had the fish?

My B&W clowns often lie or dive into the sand =\ Strange fish. They are 'clowns' after all.

Does it have laboring breathing?

not sure what laboring breathing is and i had the clown for 4 days... my clown started swimming around a few hours after i posted, good to know that my clown isn't the only one that takes naps on the sand bed. thanks for everyone's help

also, what do you mean by stringy stools?
