Well, how was the swap???

It was my second, I could not believe ho busy it was. I wish I knew more of you. I am sure I saw you all today, But I have no clue who you were...

i am usually easily spotted when nook isnt around...... 99% of the time i am the tallest guy there. swap was extremely busy, all in all a good time

Dont know if you want an opinion from a newb? But i will give it any way. It was very busy, great turn out. Was glad to see that. It shows the following this club has. I thought there would be more vendors, but this being my first time i may be out of line. I was upset that 85% or more of the frags were sps. Unfortunately that is not what i am into, and would assume most newer people like my self are not into. I have met a few members and it was good to see them again and talk, i hope to get more involved and meet more people. You are now stuck with me...i paid my dues.

ya there was a lot of sps, miesen (sp) had some nice lps and so did midwest. as always it was very well ran a big thanks go to Rams and his wife and Mrs tall Jason for doing a lot of the leg work. Logic and Nick were kept pretty busy at the CDP tank too.

it is always good to get together with a good group of guys and gals and just hang out. oh and the beer goes down good as always too!!

I am going to go there with a sign that says Koddie Doo, who the hell are you. So I can get to actually know some you you people

Sounds like a good turnout and a good time. Thanks to the folks running the show and to the folks that attended!!

it indeed was a great time and turnout. the venders had to leave happy there wer a ton of people buying and not so many selling. well not as many as the last swap

Swap was awesome, as usual. There were'nt quite as many vendors but it was not a problem as there was still a lot of great stuff to be had and the booths were busy right up 'til the end. SPS was the mainstay as usual but there were plenty of LPS and softies to be had as well.

GrapApe, I think you'll find that input is always appriciated here. The vendors will generally bring what they think they will sell though. Some will post to the club website a couple of weeks before the swap with what they will be bringing and give club members the opportunity to make requests for anything special. Might want to keep this in mind for the next swap. ;)

It was a great turn out of buyers. Not many vender's. There were no zoanthid dominate reefers there. If there would have been just one venter there selling nothing but zoo's, they would have jammed out.

Talking about your user name and not knowing who is who. I had my Styrofoam box. I brought it to put the corals I bought in it. I wrote on the side of the box my user name, REEFSLUGS, and a lot of people kept asking me what kind of slugs do I have for sale. I thought that was pretty funny!

I thought it was a good time getting to visit with the members I knew, hope to make more pizza nights to meet everyone. I got some nice corals and nice deals but if there was one problem I had was there was one individual there that just came up pushed my wife and daughter out of the way to jump in front of everyone, not only once but twice, which kind of ruined it for my daughter who is only 7 but loves her bio cube and wanted to pick out corals Just thought a little respect would have been nice other than that AWESOME!!!

LMAO!!!! My wife said there are reef slugs???? I said well..... there are but this one is a slash member.

There was a ton of people easy 50=-100 mroe then last time. There were less vendors but the ones that came brought more then they usually do. Plus farmer had 4 or 5 hundred frags. It was SPS heavy.(Not a issue with me since that was all I wanted anyways.)

Overall I was really happy. I went planning one selling 2 frags giving away 1, and buying 2 I ended up buying 3 more then I originally had planned including a nice clam.

So overall still a must attend event for me.

With the swaps getting more attendance you have to remember how crazy it is for the vendors. I know Kraash, Nancy and Tater were working their butts off bagging coral as fast as they could.

As far as types of coral. SPS is by far the easiest coral to frag. And it was a frag swap. Zoas and LPS usually take a little more work to frag.

I really would love to see everyone wear name tags, it would make it so much eaiser, however most people get all weird about name tags for what ever reason.

All in all, it was great to see all my ol' pals, and to meet some new ones!

Good time. I was pleased with my haul.
I got everything on my list!

I would really like to see nametags.
I was to hookup with a couple people and was expecting nametags...
Made it a lot harder.

I guess they could offer tags and make them optional. Then those of us who are not ashamed of our screen name could identify each other. LOL
