Well I went to Dr. Fosters and Smith again...

Hi all

A while back I posted about when I went to Dr F&S and asked them to ship some frags to my house and was told they couldnt do this.

I received some private dialog from them and was convinced at that time that it was a mis-understanding ....they handled it very professionally and kept me as a customer. I didnt even take advantage of the offer to make things better.

Well today I was in the area and decided to visit their retail store again.
Of course I spotted a couple of frags that I liked and asked if they could ship them, and the answer was "Sure we can, no problem"

I ended up buying 2 frags and a fish that will arrive at my home on Friday. It is so nice to know that not only they went out of their way to make it right with me last time but they also effectively listened and took the initiative to completely fix the issue.

I was quick to post about the negative issue last time ....
I only feel it is only fair to post about the great POSITIVE experience today at their facility.

These guys have got customer service right and I would recommend them to anyone who has needs in our great hobby.

Dr F&S is about as good as it gets for the big On-line retailers. I am glad they did you right.

That is awesome!!! I like positive threads. It is also great to hear a follow-up after something that went so bad. I wish more retailers would get this level of customer service and how it can improve their bottom line.

great to hear they took the advice and this time you heard the answer that you should have heard last time. F&S are great ppl to work with which is why I still do alot of my online shopping with them.

The retail store is a ways up there in wisconsin. is it worth the drive+ How big of a store is it?

I was there on biz....

retail store is small for the salt water section...a definite stop if you are in the area. but not worth the long drive from where I live.
Now if you could get in the aquaculture area I bet that would be worth the drive...

Well packaged and in perfect condition.
