After almost 2 years I come home to my clowns hosting my BTA. I never thought it was going to happen. They have never showed any interest in hosting anything in my tank. Just makes you wonder why today? :bounce1:

It is about twice that size but looks small because the lights just came on. I could not wait to snap a pic after the nem opened all the way.

:celeb2: Congratulations, and I commend you for your patience. I'm very impressed that you were willing to wait a full two years! That's the right attitude to have, BTW; obviously, you were willing to just enjoy both animals separately, even if they never paired up. Your story should be encouragement for anybody who's wondering if their clowns will ever take to an anemone. :D

Oh I think they saw it I just dont think they cared. I know they were tank bread when I got them so I new they might never host. It was a long wait and to me I think the clown anemone relationship is one of the coolest things in this hobby.

mine did that too, after more than 1.5 years. when i couldnt care less whether they host or not, they jumped into my rbta...

nice pics btw, your anemone and your clowns have great colors!

Hang in there MLS you never know when or if it will happen. I am just wondering if they will now spawn. The male does the twitching thing but has been doing that for a long time now. Thanks burnah that was taken right after my MH came on and the anemone wast just starting to open full. I took the pick with my iphone but just cant get how good the color really is. I will try and post some more pics now that they are in it all the time.

Congrats Lorenz! I'm just barely searching for an anemone. I better chose one quickly so my two year waiting period can start lol

Thanks! I think it is just one of those things that can happen in an hour or might never happen. Don't rush the anemone make sure your tank is ready and good luck!

That is where mine would hang out at night for years. As soon as the lights would go out they would head to the top of the overflows.
